inFlow Stockroom is a great choice for simple, quick inventory tracking. In this article, we’ll go over how to sign up to get you started. 

Sign up for a Stockroom trial

First, sign up for a free 14-day trial. We encourage you to explore the features and discover more about Stockroom to see if Stockroom is a good fit for your team.

Download the Stockroom app

To start, download the Stockroom app on your mobile device if you didn’t complete this step during the signup process. 

1. Get your mobile device and open up the camera app.
2. Use the camera to scan the QR code below. 

The Stockroom app is separate from the inFlow Inventory app. It can only view and scan products in the specified Stockroom location(s).

Connecting the Stockroom app to your account 

Now it’s time to connect your Stockroom app with Stockroom for Web.

1. In Stockroom for Web, click on Download & log into the app from the Setup checklist.
2. Click Next to access the Log in QR code.
3. On your mobile device, open the Stockroom app, tap Scan to log in.
4. Scan the QR code that is on the Setup checklist.
5. Your phone will connect to your Stockroom account, and your name will appear on the list of Stockroom users.

Getting to know Stockroom

To get familiar with the Stockroom app, you can practice scanning a sample product before you add your products to the system. You can view the steps for this at the 0:49 second mark of the video above. 

1. Go to the Stockroom for Web Homepage and click on Try scanning stock out from the Setup checklist. 
2. On your device, open the Stockroom app and tap your name.
3. Scan the Color Ink Cartridge QR code from the Stockroom homepage, then tap Scan out to scan as many as you’d like.
4. After scanning, tap Done to adjust the inventory levels. Since this is a sample scan, no inventory levels will be added or reduced in your Stockroom inventory. 
5. To try adding stock, tap your name, then Scan in at the top of the screen. Tap Scan in to increase inventory, then when you’re finished scanning, tap Done.

Subscribing to a plan

When you’re ready to move on from a trial to a plan:

1. Click the Subscribe now button at the top of the screen (Main Menu>Settings>Account).
2. Select if you’d like an annual or monthly plan with the toggle.
3. The available plans are below. You can customize your plan by selecting plan add-ons for the features your team needs. The pricing will update as you toggle on different features.
